After last year’s debut, the 822 Collection of chairs, by Claesson Koivisto Rune, returns to centre stage. Now a new version is available with the striking dot perforations, the distinctive twist on Josef Hoffmann’s A811 designed in 1930. Together with TON, the Swedish studio have created an upholstered version for this year’s Salone del Mobile. The time has also come to expand the P.O.V. Collection, by German studio kaschkasch: it now has three versions of the coffee table. The 811 lounge chair with a cane weave or upholstery has also been added to our portfolio.

Modularity and organically shaped table legs. P.O.V. tables have an unassuming appearance, but can also become the focal point of the room. This depends only on the point of view you choose. The collection includes coffee, dining and bar heights, three types of table leg and tabletops in six shapes. Overall, dozens of variations are possible with this modular system, which makes it suitable for almost every type of interior – offices, homes, restaurants, even lounge zones. It can be accessorised by a stackable stool with the same name, which then becomes a functional element in your room. The collection is available in three types of wood: beech, oak and American walnut, all of which can be finished in various colours.
“Our main goal was to design tables that would fit with the company’s current portfolio but also bring something new. The conical shape of the table base contrasts the fine lines of bentwood furniture,” added kaschkasch designer Sebastian Schneider.

​The P.O.V. modular collection can be supplied with a variety of electrical and electronic modules, making it particularly suitable for the office. The options can be included in all table varieties. In addition to sockets, you can opt for data and multimedia modules or wireless charging systems. The type and number of socket panels vary depending on your chosen table and table top.

This seating collection was created in partnership with the Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune. It takes inspiration from Josef Hoffmann’s 1930 design of the modernist model A811, with the Swedish creators extending the design in the direction of contemporary Scandinavian minimalism. They have created a distinct version whose proportions work better with the natural forms created by manual wood-bending technology, and which gains a unique character from the graphic dot perforations in the plywood seat and backrest. These design principles have been applied to a chair, an armchair, a lounge armchair, a bar stool and a low stool. The character of this product family is expanded by the softer-to-sit-on upholstered seat option.

COLLECTION 811

The comprehensive product family based on Josef Hoffmann’s design of the A811 chair and armchair. The models incorporate Art Nouveau elements adapted into the shapes of manual bentwood technology, which can be combined with upholstery or weaves in the seat or backrest. The collection is further expanded to include the barstool and lounge armchair both with and without armrests, creating a comprehensive take on the 811 for different types of interior.
